This is a terrible tragedy. Unfortunately, the investigation not going smoothly. I think they need to bring in Jammer Davis!
More unnervingly, I'm just finishing up a third book in The Perfect Assassin series and the plot goes something like this:
Widebody airliner goes missing, crash suspected. No one can find the wreckage. Turns out it has been acquired by a terrorist group who are keeping it hidden in a very clever way.
If I'd only finished the book a few months earlier . . .
